I've gone from a 2 bed apartment to a 4 bed detatched house with a garden, so tbh I don't mind putting up with 45mbps for the meantime smile lol

i drove the other day and its 2 milles from the cab at the belmont abbey but there is a little bye the village hall which is 73a so i am guessing that there will upgreaded the mann cable to the litten one befor it was allpay it was asscess broadband but they couldt do it anymore so allpay tock over so i have been with them for 4 years i had 2mb with asscess bb then went up to 4mb and now 10mb think my contrack ends in dec this year,

what speed can u get from fiber broadbasnd when its ready

2 miles is a bit of a distance and you may find that if that is the cab that is being updated then you will net get a great speed.

According to BT I would get around 45megabits, which to be honest compared to others is not that great, i means that 80megabits will not be possible, so once again we get a lower service up here than what others get.

Not that I am that bothered as 45 megabits would suit me if I was going onto fibre, but I would certainly not be with BT.

the problem is if I did go to fibre after the 2 years with all pay,, i would have to get a landline connection, which to be honest I don't want, you would have thought with FTTC that we could have a choice about have a landline connection, it seems even FTTP you still don't have that choice.

Yes congrats to Hunderton Road who look like they are first to get their new cab on the rounadbout as someone said, drove past it earlier, shiny full sized (288) Huwaei cab.

Now.....Where's mine?
