All very odd but I'll keep checking daily anyway. In the mean time I've actually managed to increase my speed by removing the bellwire from the socket, so it's not too bad.

I really can't understand what's going on with Broadstairs either.

Order on NDRAM 18 was removed. This was because they only see the exchange was enabled then they could not finalize the order.

I would not mind as much if they just gave an date on when the cabinets are going to go live. Guess my cabinet will go live we all hope of it being live has gone.

At least we're getting it, there's many that are not, even some area's of Thanet won't be getting it - my mates cabinet has been excluded (NDBRO 5) even though it covers a large residential area.

Hello all,

I've been watching this thread for a couple of weeks now. My cab is NDTHA36 in Palm Bay and 7 days ago it gave a speed estimate of up to 80mbps but no date. The next day it gave no FTTC information at all and stayed like that for a week.

At 7am today there was still no info but sometime after 9am that changed, the speed estimate is back but down to 49.2 mbps and it's showing the 30th Sept date, maybe they are about to switch it on? I haven't seen any openreach activity whatsoever though.

Just wanted to share the info for anyone else in my immediate area.

Just checked all Broadstairs and Ramsgate cabinets, no new live cabinets. No updates on Margate cabinets from RJH321

NDRAM 13 & NDRAM 44 are giving speed estimates today.

It looks like 3 cabinets in Broadstairs are being re-shelled this week NDBRO 4, NDBRO 10 & NDBRO 33, 11 metes of poly duct in Salisbury Ave and also a new chamber in Lindenthorpe Rd

The roadworks at the roundabout on Pysons/Rumfields Rd look to have been completed (drove past yesterday), so hopefully thats all they need to do to get fibre to my cabinet smile

I notice there is roadworks scheduled (o/s 27 across c/w to jcn Cecilia Grove on BEACON ROAD) for the start of August

So there seems to be a reduction in the related works in Broadstairs, so hopefully we'll start seeing some cabinets go live soon.

As for Ramsgate there is also very little related work, cabinet 22 is still scheduled, and I'll check if it is being installed on Monday.

I've been away for a few days but on my return, I have checked all outstanding Margate cabinets. As previously indicated by an anonymous poster on 13th July, NDTHA36 is now giving a speed estimate. Also, NDTHA41 is now live, having previously given a speed estimate.

My Broadband Speed Test

Looking forward to a speed increase!
