It's already marked up on the map. Fibres went to it the other day I believe.

Don't know what they did in my cab yesterday, but long may it last. Sync dropped maybe 4 or 5 times yesterday and now my adsl is syncing 1/2Mb faster than anytime in the last several years. Fibre fringe benefit smile

what do think what speed i wil get if i am 2 miles away form the cabmint my phone is conected to cab 73 and theres a cab 73a so will i getbmore then 10mb

2 miles is a bit of a distance, the problem is some providers will nto give you fibre if you can't get more than 15Mb/s

Nah, if your router disconnected a few times then Bt awful profiling system comes into play and may stick you on a higher sync until it realises that it causes problems and then stick you back to where you was.

I used to have that problem with BT profiling, one of the reason why i did not want to go onto fibre

I dont have a banded profile, sync wanders freely, I have graphs for several years, I think maybe they got water in my connections and it's making a better connection than the copper lol.

I saw a Western Power van at the FTTC Cabinet on Holmer Roundabout at 8:30 this morning... glad to see things are progressing well! From what I heard on other FTTC forums, getting the power comps to install power is often one of those things that causes delays, but that doesn't seem to be the case here!

BT Openreach van outside cab 25 on Church Road (Tupsley) this morning and an engineer doing something inside the cab - hopefully it's fibre related!

Saw an Openreach guy working inside the newly installed Cab at Holmer Roundabout this morning, and about 5 Western Power vans and quite a few people at the New Cab round the corner on the A49 towards Leominster!

Well on track, whitecross has all been done by the looks of it, re-sealed the pavement after the new cab was installed along with the fibre and western power, who were there for a day or two. Looks like we could be looking at the end of august after all

Just took a walk past the cab on Grandstand road (top end near co-op) and ducting work has gone on there but no new cab yet.
