yes i was on the phone to them and they said they are in the middle of upgread allensmore wil be done next month has they got to replace the access points and they network to 300mb up and down once thast gose line then they can give us i thinnk it was 25mb and 35mb

mys been ok geting 10mb most of the time has i am on the buiness package

it wouild be nice to have fiber to work out here at allensmore gives me 2 opinions

as i said they need to upgrade their bandwidth first before upgrading speed, other wise they will get a lot of very annoyed people.

with FTTC on it's way All pay will need to compete, other wise people will leave after their contract runs out if they can.

i like to support All pay being a local company, but they need to offer a good service.

what happed to the belmont abbey hereford uk telephone exchange they was one there if they ues that one most of the south side would get faster speep

I have no idea, but it is not needed for fibre if they decided to do fibre that way. fibre got very few limits and will work for miles. it is the last mile from the cabinet to your house that is the problem.
Copper wires was never made to take data to start with, need full fibre, not this half baked rubbish Bt is putting out.

I remain optomistic. Someone in the know at BT has recently said the target for Hereford is to be live by the end of August. My view (I cycle around Hereford from time to time) is that BT's efforts in Hereford in the last 3 weeks has been very impressive. Of course there will be individual cabinets that are not in the rollout, and some other issues to be delt with, like the two or three cabs with SCPs which seem to be be ignored at the moment. The only thing we can't really see is the status of the fibres.

Openreach have a twitter account which shows when exchanges go live.

Perhaps there are commercial conditions that now make a swift delivery for Hereford higher on BT's agenda.

Don't be too optimistic, this is Bt after all and i know a few people who got fibre cabs near them in other towns and have been waiting for months for Bt to switch them on.

Commercial Conditions in Hereford, what makes this heap of a city any different to any other?
