Coluld you also create an Allpay thread for discussion on their wireless serivce provision, that too would help.
There is one in the wireless broadband section.
Maybe a link would help? I don't see one in

http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/mobilebroadband.html
or
http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/wirelessbb.html

You are not looking hard enough smile it will not be in mobile as it is not mobile, but it is in wirelessBB.

Here is the link

But only you know whether or not you are the only anon poster in a thread. To everyone else every post by an anon could be someone else.

Personally I wouldn't be able to stand the huge number of adverts an anon sees, the inability to tailor how the forum appears in terms of layout, (through the favourite thread and post lists and the three sets of options at the bottom of My Home, and the captchas every time you want to post. The whole user experience is hugely better when registered, even if all you ever do is read.

Captchas are a pain, I hate the things, if i was nt registered and had to use captchas all the time I would give up. also the use of free chat is good, which unregistered users can't use, even if Free chat is not as good as it used to be.

Can you change the title to include "hereford FTTC part 2" please

it is in the fibre forums, so I guess people will know it is to do with Fibre, with a bit of other stuff in, I don't think it is possible for users to change the title, i expect it can be done via the Admin side, but not really worth it.

Well you've just changed it for your latest post, and it can be edited within the normal 12 hours like the body of the post. IIRC the request was well within that timespan.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
My domains, website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Internet connection - Plusnet Value Fibre FTTC 80/20 trial.

There is now one less. I'd mostly only been posting anonymously as my account here is quite aged, but having managed to recover the password recently I'll see how long the cookie remain cached or I remember the password wink

I hadn't noticed any advertising, but it's probably being filtered out.

It's a matter of getting things right for the search function to work. for example it's hard to find your Allpay thread because the word allpay does not appear anywhere in it!

Yep, but it is not about speed as such it is the bandwidth that is the problem.

i very few people are using the service, then the speed is there, but as soon as too many start using it like now with kids off school, it slows down.

Been okish for me mind you, but more bandwidth will not hurt.
