Hi James if you look on Google street view at location of Cab 11 on Huddersfield in Diggle, just north is the entrance to what was Shaws pallet works (formely The Loomworks). There is an angled side to the entrance that is outside the location of the gates to the site (zoom in a bit and you'll see green gates about half way down access road). Doesn't look clear if the patch of road bounded by the angled bit is public highway or not.

Yeah, thats about the only place I could see it going too. Unless, they go for the 128 capacity small FTTC cab as that is not as deep on the pavement that it may well go next to the existing cab without taking up too much of the pavement space.

P.S. Here's the original planning application for that cabinet last year that was rescinded due to the Highway Agency concerns.

You are presumably aware of the rules regarding language and the use of a filter on this bbs or you wouldn't have tried to evade it... post again if you wish, but restrain the language please.

Hi James, noticed last couple of days there is work taking place at cabinet in Diggle. The existing cab has 19 on the outside so assuming this is its number. This is close to the entrance to Warth Mill.

Anyway on the pavement there was some lettering in white paint that said XDSL4 Full Width (IIRC).

Is there a way to establish which cabinel a telephone line is connected to?

Sorry James just seen from much earlier post you said I was on CAB11. Not doubting you but is that definite?

Quite odd, as cab 19 has already been installed (its on Sunfield Lane just off Huddersfield Road) a few month ago - but not yet live. I'll take a drive down when I get chance to see what gives!
