Hey, I'm not sure if you can help, iv been searching everywhere, bt websites, forums, went through as many links, I'm trying to find out if my postcode CT119LP would be getting fibre soon? I don't know if this is accurate but iv read that if your lines connected to the exchange directly your unable to get a fibre service!? I don't know if my line is. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Good news! You are on cabinet NDRAM13 or NDRAM27. Your postcode is split between these two. Both are scheduled to have fibre broadband soon. I presume you are in Grange Road, Ramsgate. Your postcode seems to cover some of the numbers between 30 and 81a plus a couple in Steeple View. If you're at the low end of those numbers you may have fibre availability now. You can check by putting your phone number into the BT checker here: www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/.

The only item of interest today on the Thanet (Margate) exchange is that NDTHA26, which since the 22nd July has been giving speed estimates, is now not doing so! Not sure what that means....

Sorry but Nonington exchange is not currently in the FTTC rollout plans according to Superfast Where and When. Your postcode is not listed in the December spreadsheet either, and going by the above I doubt it's in more recent lists. There was another 98 exchanges announced in June and it's not on that list either.

It may eventually come, but I'm afraid not anytime soon.

Welcome back to our wonderful British weather!
Thanks for updating the map. No change from yesterday's position in Margate. There are one or two cabinets which give estimates on some addresses and not others in the same postcode. Where I find those, I am not reporting them until I am sure. This doesn't seem to happen to the live ones.
I'll be out of the loop until Saturday - moving things from South Wales to Margate.

It would appear that you are on cabinet P27, as P13 is already live.

Your address on the checker brings up 5 Flats and the address you posted, only the address you posted and the basement flat are bringing up the following:

Your cabinet is planned to have WBC FTTC by 30th September 2012. Our test also indicates that your line currently supports a fibre technology with an estimated WBC FTTC Broadband where consumers have received downstream line speed of 80 Mbps and upstream line speed of 20 Mbps.

The fact the other flats do not mention FTTC is probably a database error, so just be aware of that when checking, if you are in one of the flats use the house number and postcode you posted to check here, once that says you can get FTTC use your telephone number or actual address, any problems post back here.

The cabinet will most likely go live long before the end of September, that is just a place holder date, but sometimes problems can delay cabinets going live.

In answer to your question, the FTTC cabinets are the smaller type and only support 128 lines, so yes all lines should be able to order FTTC, that is until all 128 FTTC ports are used. There could also be a DACS on the line which would stop you getting FTTC (and broadband), but if you already have broadband, which I suspect you do then you won't have a DACS

Well the long two week wait is finally over, my order for Sky fibre unlimited was fulfilled today. The BT Openreach engineer would only connect the Openreach modem to a 'proper' extension, not the cheapo 15m inline extension from b&q. He ended up connecting it directly to the master socket. My connection has gone from a measly 3002 down and 786 up to a quite frankly pants wettingly exciting 39992 down and 9996 up on NDTHA36

I'd like to point out that Sky kept me up to date via text all the way, the router was delivered 5 days before the install date and they stalked me via text all the way. Even royal mail sent a text on Saturday to say they would try to deliver the router later that day.
