Hi folks - quick question.

Are all the yellow cabinets to be upgraded, or just showing where they are?

Am at top end of Quarry Road, Tupsley (about 150m from St Pauls Church).

Very, very much hoping for fibre broadband - current connection aint great at all.

How does one determine which cabinet serves your house? None seem all that close.

BT's checker seems to think end of September and around 50mb download, 11ish mb upload (which is around 20 times better than I'm getting now).

I live in the house right by the exit of St. Paul's Church and we are connected to cab 25 on Church Road so I am guessing you probably are too if you're that close. Currently we get 1.9 down and 0.7 up and the estimator says 45mbps down with fttc so it's going to make a huge difference!
I did see an Openreach engineer working on cab 25 last week but there's definitely no sign of any new cabinets there even though it was listed on the council's website for planned road works. Same situatuion for the cab by my mum's house just off Vineyard road, the roadworks were planned and I saw some vans there but no sign of any physical changes frown
