At last - NDRAM5 has gone live this morning!! Upgrade order placed with A&A - provisional install date of the 17th. Hope everyone else in Ramsgate can soon get their upgrade as well. Andrew.

Install date now gone out to the 28th - lead times are getting longer frown !

Oh my goodness it's finally happened!

Checked this morning and miraculously it said I could place an order so lightning speed I grabbed the phone and did so. August 29th which I don't think is bad, I was expecting worse to be honest.

Even taking their predicted speeds with a large pinch of salt, it will be bliss!

So judging from this, it only took a couple of days from estimates showing to going live, which makes me think quite a few other cabinets are now live in Ramsgate.

Hey, so surprised at the pace at which BT appear to be doing their job!
However, does anyone have any news on my postcode CT11 9BH - I believe it is on NDRAM 41 (for some bizarre reason), I asked a while and no one had any news but you never know!

NDBRO 1 is now giving a speed estimate

"cabinet is planned to have WBC FTTC by 30th September 2012. Our test also indicates that line currently supports a fibre technology with an estimated WBC FTTC Broadband where consumers have received downstream line speed of 72.4 Mbps and upstream line speed of 20 Mbps"

Also thanks to RONSKI for confirmation of status of NDRAM 41! Wish I knew why they hadn't installed cabinet - they excavated some ground just to tarmac a path leading round the corner to a patch of tarmac where i can only assume the cabinet is planned to be located. As usual no one at BT Retail or Openreach is able to divulge any information. And despite resetting the line profile and actually 'repairing the line' my ADSL2 connection, though relatively fast, is horrendously unreliable!
