Live dangerously... and keep a good backup

Not only do you get the warning message Batboy shows, but it is inaccurate... tells me my line is 21cn, it ain't............

I am getting very confused with all the different responses from speed testers. I carried out 3 tests within a couple of mins of each other all on different testers. Results were:

BT Speedtester Beta: 74.98Mbps
Speedtester.net: 22.76Mbps
TBB Speed Test: 29.8Mbps

I am on a 80Mbps connection and according to the modem, I am connected at the full 80Mbps.

Wrong assumption!

The Service ID is: BBEU03522XXX
This is a 21CN line.
Looks like BT refused to test, possibly because a speed test or BRAS check has been run recently which prevents this tool from working. Try again in a few hours.

Tho' I don't remember using the BT speedtester since yesterday at latest.

Does your exchange have 21cn? I would expect so. If you are still on the "up to 8mbps" (limited) product it's still very likely that you are connected to 21cn kit now but with the older ADSL1(ADSLMax) settings applied to the line.
