Still reckon you'll get full sync, unless that's 385m of aluminium, even then it'll be near as makes no difference. I'm on 450m of copper, and sync at 74 meg.

I'm 450m and only getting just under 50 meg, think I'e got some sort of fault somewhere - modem keeps re syncing and speeds fluctuate up and down.

I'm also on about 400-450 metres of copper and, about 6 months ago with ~20 users on the cabinet, sync'd at about 70Mbps. That's since dropped to about 64Mbps as (presumably) the number of users has increased.

I was the very first person on the cabinet, speeds have dropped a little since 20th August (connection day) when maximum obtainable rate was 55 meg, now it's 53 meg but it fluctuates, currently it's on a high smile

Oh and the FTTC cabinet is literally next to the PCP

Kinda more concerned with distance from PCP to DSLAM,

out of all the DSLAMS in my area, the standard distance is around 2-3meters, I just cant understand why its in a different street smile

Will take pics today.

Avoids objections due to being outside windows of home, possible narrowing of pavement and may have been more suitable in terms of power and what over gas/sewer/pipes were already under that bit of pavement.

The street is wide enough as per pic, also were PCP trench finishes at Duct, there are no windows etc, and was obv place to stand DSLAM.

There's an open fence there which could be a possible source of complaint from the owner of the house and why it probably wasn't placed there.
