2 Will I see any speed increase at all if I just stay with my current ISP ?
If you mean will FTTC at your cabinet mean your existing broadband will speed up, the answer is
No. Existing broadband continues as though the fibre wasn't there. Have a read of
how fibre connects in.
You will need to upgrade to one of your ISP's fibre products, or migrate to one elsewhere.
