Well now I know.

I googled it smile

But yes should just be a simple migration. Sounds more likely that the IDNet internal systems may be the issue.

That would figure, given how poor many internal systems are!!

James - be* pro - 16.8 / 1.2 Mbps until 16th Sept - then BT Infinity from 19th Sept - 44.6 / 6.5 Mbps estimated
BQM 13 years of broadband - ntl:(512k/1M)/BTbusiness(2M)/Metronet(2M)/Bulldog(8M/16M)/BE(16M)

It does sound like the problem is IDNet internal systems as you say, and unable to cope with a move from their LLU via O2 Wholesale to their FTTC via WBC.

I moved from O2 Retail LLU to IDNet FTTC in Feb 2011 with no problem at all. BT line like the OP.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Connection - Plusnet Extra Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.0/13.9Mbps @ 600m.
