I also had my installation cancelled for today, this afternoon. Rang bt for new date, they said they will give new date on Wednesday, and they tried to say for three weeks time, but will fast track for Thursday through to Saturday morning this week. but what I've been reading on the tinternet this does not seem likely.

This has me concerned - I mean these dates have been booked weeks in advance, are you guys gonna get any compensation?

If you did the same to them they would charge you £150 - so I dont see why you dont get the same from then given you have to take more time off work - this really makes me mad!

I found this link on another thread

http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/9394/...

But this probably applies to BT customers only...

I'll consider the compensation issue once the installation work is actually complete.

My ISP were told they couldn't re-book the appointment today, so I too am expecting an expedited slot to be booked tomorrow, for sometime in the next few days.

I have already approached the relevant senior people in BT with my concerns, and await a response. My focus here is not one of compensation, but of trying to ensure the missed appointments not only don't occur for me again, but for others too.

Fantastic effort to get the cabs in, and then a fail at the last fence. Who does their engineer recruitment and training, G4S?

Fantastic effort for you but no updates on the one's left can't help but feel there going to push Kempton Avenue out to the end of the year now.

I spoke to an engineer I know he did two fftc installs yesterday so they are engineers out there but probably only a few trained, gotta love bt's ability to forgot about that =).
