Cab p96 is in belmont - in stanbrook road righ opposite the junction to Oulton avenue. If you cant find it on the map scroll down the panel on the left then click on p96 and it will zoom to it in the right hand pane.

Tell them you want an escellated appointment, at their cost of course.

I think this might help.

I am of course banking on them actually wanting to do it on a Saturday....

Highly likely - annoying its letting people book appointments that they can't commit too - id be fuming if id taken time off work they'd be giving me a lot more than £85!

Thx Lorian, strange whenninrun that cab checker it displays a mini map on the right showing an arrow at the bottom of Broomy hill so I corresponded that to your map .

Any idea why if I'm so close to the cab I can only get 34mb not more like the 60-70 mb?

Is the cab nothing to do with speed, just the exchange?

You are deinfielty on the cab iin standbrook rd, checker is perhaps being a bit pessemistic, but it depends what route the cables take from you to the cab.

My install date is Wednesday, I'm dreading it at this point, as I don't want a wasted day of holiday. I wonder if because I'm with BT they'll be less likely to cancel me, wouldn't surprise me if they were prioritising BT customers over ISP's, sort of thing BT would probably do.

IF my engineer arrives tomorrow rest assured I will attempt to find out what the SP is with regard to resourcing.

Sorry about my venting earlier!

Lorian you know how I feel so Good luck with your install tomorrow. I don't see why I have to wait till Monday though, I would have thought they could have at least booked me in for a new appt.
