I was on 10, but that's no real indication of what you will get as I jnow people who had 1.5 Mb and their house is next to a cab so they now get 80.

can any one tel me why cant bt offer fiber broadband to the the post code area hr4 9ye going bye the checker it says most of the lines are connected to the main exchange ,is there going to be phase 2 and when

That postcode comes back with having Exchange only lines- basically the copper line goes from your house to the exchange- their is no cabinet in between, so you are unable to order a FTTC service.

Openreach has said that where technically and economically feasible they will provide either a FTTC (via new cabinet) or FTTP service, this is done on a case-by-case basis as the roll-outs progress.

Their is no confimed date yet but its estimated to be early 2014.
