Looks like it's working to me. Try plugging the PC into LAN1 on the modem and automatically getting the settings.

I have, it just says unidentified network No Internet access :-/

I just noticed you can install a config file! Could I get one for this setup from anywhere?

Unfortunately the option to save one is greyed out on my modem.

Can I just check you're on residential infinity?

Make sure the user name is [email protected] and something like abcd for the password.

Yea residential! I think I am going to give up now, 11 and a half hours later! It's not ganna happen is it frown

What other options do I have, could I buy a switch or something to connect to the hg612 and then plug the two airport expresses into that and have them work independently with Internet? Assuming a switch can use PPPoE to conect to the Internet...

I can't believe I have to buy a second piece of hardware to do the job the hg612 should be able to do! These big companies really do give out the cheapest crapiest hardware don't they frown

Can i just ask, what is the TR069_INTERNET service in the Basic>Wan tap? I noticed it is routing as DHCP and in the status pane it is the only service that has an ip, mask and dns addresses (ptm1.303) the ptm1.101 does not have any addresses at all...

Can the 303 be deleted without affecting this set up?

Thanks

I deleted mine, by unticking the WAN connection enable box, because I suspected foreign connections were being made to my modem.

I haven't noticed any bad side effects.

Ah, excellent.
Don't think you can. I just use a VPN dialler on the PC.
Remember to disable Qos and CWMP in Advanced.

Ah ok, yea Qos and CWMP are both off! Just trying to work out this firewall stuff atm, I want to block some online games from the Internet such as world of Warcraft and leuge of legends, I know the ports they use as I googled it (TCP/UDP) various ports and port ranges, but not quite sure how to configure blocking ports using the HG612 firewall :-/

My brother has a very bad addiction, just want to block the bad ones!
