Worst Speed?

I just tried my old phone number and got this:

I didn't know that FTTC could have a speed so slow.

(mine thankfully says:

Our test also indicates that your line currently supports a fibre technology with an estimated WBC FTTC Broadband where consumers have received downstream line speed of 80Mbps and upstream line speed of 20Mbps.

But is your "old phone number" still at the same address? The move may have caused some confusion on the BT database so that the are giving contradictory information?

No, it is a different address and probably quite a way from a cabinet. I posted here as I was just surprised as I didn't think FTTC could offer such low speeds.

It doesn't. Orders will not be accepted for lines with such an estimate.
