Cabinet Question

Hi All,
I am currently waiting for for cabinet to go live, it's been in place for 6 months now, it shows on openreaches website as being delayed. I checked the other day if it was making a sound and it appears to be powered on as I could hear the fans humming - is this a good sign? Surely they only turn them on when they are nearly ready for service? ETA from BT is March 2014.

Have you contacted Openreach by e-mail, they may be able to give you more specific information?

Yes they said close April...just haven't seen any road works recently so wondered if the fact it's switched on is a good sign.

Ours was humming for many weeks.

The March 2014 date is now a blanket end date for the rollout. There were so many complaints about the quarter end dates slipping all the time they decided to give up. So it's largely meaningless.

I'd hazard a guess that the fibre isn't completed yet
