Was in Newquay two weeks ago and saw similar.

It is basically where they have laid out the fibre tubing (black with yellow stripe) and have not yet joined all the bits of the puzzle.

So looks like FTTP, just needs some more work, to join the black tubing to all the other bits.

The exact location of the photos was along the SW Costal path in Newquay, near to the station

Plusnet are only doing trials with a few existing customers at the moment.

Certainly did one for PN in Deddington a couple of weeks ago .... a trialist ? Not sure....

Where the manifolds are in place, it should be pretty much ready to go. Engineer installs BFT from the manifold to the CSP, then blows fibre from the DP to the CSP. Two splices, one at the DP and another at the Splitter node, then a second visit for the actual install from CSP to ONTE.

BFT - Blown Fibre Tube
CSP - Customer Service Point
DP - Distribution Point
ONTE - Optical Network Terminating Equipment
