Further to my earlier post my cab which had jumped from Apr 2013 to Apr 2014 went live over the easter weekend, as NGA enquiries had suggested (Mar / Apr 13).

So today my number says FTTC is now enabled. I start going to all the SP's but they all still say nooooo go away its not enabled.

How long does it normally take from a CAB going live to the SP's from providing service?

Ours was instant - I saw it was available one morning and ordered online from Plusnet immediately.

Sky & TalkTalk can take longer if they've not installed their kit in the Exchange.

Sky and TalkTalk might not be available straight away, but the others should be.

Have you tried Plusnets checker?

Plusnet checker said just ADSL

PlusNet is only one available here after a week of being available on dsl checker. Even BT site still says no ????

What DSL checker you using. Samknows tells me I'm good to go but any other is still using the early 2013 openreach estimates.

You need to use the BT Wholesale checker with your phone number (BT Line) or address.
