You are on cabinet 10, 100% of the lines in your postcode go to cabinet 10.

Uplift is the amount you multiple your current asdl speed.

Phase 5b is the estimated 3 month slot that Openreach was planning to deploy your cabinet and type is either FTTC or FTTP, in your case FTTC.

Looking at the information as a whole you should be able to order a FTTC service, as it was planned by Openreach and should have been completed by now, likely their was a problem with the cab and its either no longer planned or has been bumped further down the to do list.

Bt Openreach are now saying they have never sought planning permission for the cabinet in lion lane as they could not find a suitable place for the box. below are two documents. One were the planning permission was sought and the secend when it was granted

permission sought

Permission Granted

I am going to fight this to the end

The documents you link to are for the Parish council, you need the district council approval............the good news is they also approved it.

Midsussex planning portal

http://pa.midsussex.gov.uk/online-applications/appli...

Link to decision document - see the second page.

There were also a few objections/comments.

Hopefuly the links will work

Edit: Oddly the recommendations sheet shows that the parish council objected as it was in a prominent position and detracted from a conservation area!

And another edit:

If you download the original application it's got the contact numbers, address and email for the company that put in the application - perhaps you should phone them.

Good luck!

Thought I would give you an update on what's going on so far and just to say thanks for all your help so far.
Openreach have admitted there have been obvious communications issues and are going to look into this. Have also spoken to harlequin plc who origanily applied for the planning permission they are going to chase up with openreach planning and try and get this moving.

So hopefully things will start to happen now

FTTC, please! Amazing how BT have got away with this "Infinity, only from BT" malarkey. Maybe other ISPs need to come up with a snappy exclusive brand name for it.

Not really gotten away with anything, BT retail have been on the ball with their marketing, while the other Isp's have been far behind in advertising their fibre services.

Maybe a company of BT's size can afford a little more advertising than nearly all the rest put together tongue. In fact more than the annual turnover of several of them.

However no-one can argue with the brilliance of the "Infinity, only from BT" as the ending to a long advert about superfast broadband.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 53.4/16.8Mbps @ 600m. - BQM
