Some markings on pavement showing the usual utilities - red for electricity, blue for water, white for telephony.

No sign of anything on pavement for cabinet, however the guy did say that it was going to be stood in the grass next to the original cabinet.

As there are a lot of questions and comments about timescales I'll keep an eye on this and update as things progress.

The wonderful, talented and beautiful Ribble mentioned that the cabinet was unlikely to be built until 'late summer' however I've been informed it's been marked as 'important' whatever that means, so we'll see how it goes.

Sadly there have been a few issues here, so this cabinet may struggle to be stood by late summer.

There ducts feeding the cabinet are full, there are no e-sides available to connect people to POTS let alone for a fibre microduct.

It is not possible to dig to deliver more duct capacity as the road this cabinet lives on is awaiting adoption by the local authority and the developer refuse to allow roadworks until it's no longer their problem.

I'm liaising with BT and council to keep all of this as smooth as possible and having my nuts chewed constantly by the local community.

Just updating this the cabinet is stood though I'm not sure of where it is in the provisioning process.

Hopefully all will go well and it'll be ready to go in the not too distant future.
