After fiddling around all day I made a restore point & ran the program & looked at the results; no idea what changed, too tired to find out, still running 75/17 tho

SO, what did it change?
At very least it would've increased the maximum RWIN and enabled window scaling to make it possible.

Hah! Probably the oldest machine on this forum, I bought it in 2003 A positive youngster. I still run things on a Sun SPARCstation 5. That dates back to about 1995/6
Edit: and I'm amazed people are still selling them for silly money; www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320801246648

My network firewall runs on an old dual 200 MHz Pentium Pro based Compaq Professional Workstation which hails from 1996 and my webserver is a Cobalt RaQ4R which is slightly newer.

I loved the Cobalt equipment, It's a pity they were bought and put out of business by Sun.

Yes, I worked with Sun networks in the late 1980s.
I don't think that machine on eBay is cheap, £465 for this?
"Sun Sparc 5, 170MHz CPU, No RAM, No HDD, No CD-ROM, No FDD, used" blimey,

Very expensive I thought, I can build a very good spec fast PC using onboard graphics for that, it'll be silent and even have an SSD.
Do those machines have any special features which make them expensive?
I'm sure my brother has all his old computers stashed away, ZX81, Spectrum, BBC Micro, Atari, Apricot Qi.
