I'm with Plusnet with no contract at the moment... They've been bobbins for online gaming (My Battlefield 3 hasn't worked properly in the evenings for months)

Plusnet is very very good value, though

And now its been removed from roadworks.org and cab 33 they were working on moved to start October!

Fun and games continue, this bares all the hallmarks of cab17 in gorleston all over again. I called that situation the stick and carrot, ill let you make your mind up as to why frown

That completely blows. They've kicked this cab back three times now. Are you emailing NGA again to find out what their problem is?

LOL - NGA Team have given up also it seems. Never have so many words been used before to say so little:

Exchange Gt Yarmouth

Cabinet 15

The exchange that your line is fed from Gt Yarmouth is enabled and accepting orders for cabinets that have already been deployed.

However the cabinet feeding your line PCP 15 is not due for deployment until Phase 9a Which is Q2 2013/14, (Aug-Sep 2013) the cabinet in question is current planned as FTTC.

Please be aware that the engineering required to commission a Fibre Broadband cabinet is often complex and should conditions on the ground change, there is a small risk that the delivery date may be effected. Please track the date for commissioning through the line checker of your chosen service provider.

Many sites that show Fibre Broadband availability dates only show when the Exchange goes live and not individual cabinets off that particular exchange.

I hope this helps to clarify why the site you are obtaining this information from appears to be giving conflicting information.

Can`t organise a P!!! Up in a brewery, the confliciting information that guy speaks is from their own NGA team...

And whats this speak of Aug-Sept then says Q2 13/14? Is that not conflicting in itself?

As I say been through this all before with them and to be honest i`m now looking at a directional wlan system with a mate on Virgin cable, looking at buying 100mb at his house and routing it here. He`s not far.

This is precisely what I'm doing with a friend who lives a few streets away, using 5Ghz outdoor wifi kit to link up, he'll only be able to get 30meg FTTC but that's still a considerable improvement on my current connection!

In return I'm paying for the FTTC service which he can use for free, and paying his line rental as a good will gesture.
