I don't think it was, his stats shows he was on fast path. Also when the DLM resyncs you always get a red spike of lost packets, there is no red spike. Must have been some work on Sky's network somewhere, causing congestion.

Not true in my case, I have had DLM resyncs with no visible loss, just a step-change in the latency.

I hope that's the case and whatever work they have been doing is now rectified

Maybe rather than going clockwise around the Sky fibre backbone, its going the shorter anti-clockwise route.

Have you actually checked that the modem has resynced, as I've often had changes in latency without modem resync's, most likely a change in network routing somewhere.

Yes, I am talking about resyncs caused by DLM where the level of interleaving has changed. On checking the last two resyncs there is actually a tiny red point near the top of the graph. I occasionally get a small change in latency when changing gateways after a disconnection but that does usually cause a noticeable red line on the graph.

On FTTC the latency changes without a re-sync. Mine is changing several times a day at the moment, but definitely no re-sync's.

On ADSLx I agree with you.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 51.8/16.8Mbps @ 600m. - BQM
