HG612 Access Problems...

Hi,

I've unlocked my HG612 modem and all is setup and working LAN1.

The problem is that I can't access the UI.

I've tried 192.168.1.1 on both LAN1 and LAN2 but it times out...

Can someone please help?

1. Are you sure you have unlocked it?
2. If you are connecting directly to the modem (LAN2), you need to specify your IP address, subnet mask and default gateway in your Network Adapter TCP/IPv4 properties, e.g.

192.168.1.100 (example, could be anything in the last bit)
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.1

I have my LAN2 port connected to the router, which means you don't have to worry about all that, as long as the router and the modem have different addresses in the 192.168.1 subnet.
