A database error.

Don't assume because of one postcode in your local area that's how things are. If it were there'd be a real problem where postcodes are served by multiple cabinets - LS10 4FL for instance.

The total nonsense comment was harsh, however if you must insist on making things up to fill gaps...

My VDSL2 cabinet was installed, fibre connected and then sat idle for 18 months waiting for connection of power. Hopefully your delay will not be so extreme!

I confirmed the delay at the http://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/where-and-when/ website: when I entered my postcode there was a pin for the cabinet, and clicking it stated there was an unexpected delay. I emailed nga.enquiries and after about a week they provided the detail for the delay (power supply was not in the expected area, so they needed to find an alternative supply).

Hi

I'm seeing the same thing, postcode gives a go live date, the address checker or telephone number mentions nothing about FTTC.

A postcode may be covered by a mixture of cabinet and exchange only lines, and/or by multiple cabinets.

Whilst there is the possibility of database errors, the phone number checker is usually the most accurate, followed by the address checker. The postcode checker may be displaying a result for a cabinet that doesn't cover your line.
