Well this is certainly interesting, as I see the estimates have dropped as well. (to 44/8 in our case)
It's followed reality, at least!
When we first got VDSL last month it said 59/20. Reality was 65/20 with throughput of 62/15.
A week later it dropped to 55/15.
Then about a week later it went to 50/15.
Then to 45/13.
Now it seems to have settled on 47/13. I'm just glad the upload speed hasn't plummeted too much, the estimated 8 would be a bit frustrating.
What bugs me is that it was so much better early on and I keep watching it going down and down and down week after week, YES I know, "crosstalk", even though it's a huge drop and it's in a quiet area that just went live where most people think a "broad band" is something to do with the Spice Girls. I don't think it's crosstalk, personally, I doubt there's more than a few in the cabinet yet and am not looking forward to it gradually taking effect.
I'm just wondering how many times it's going to drop, and then BT quietly reducing the estimated speed on their site to match it.
