I can't comment on FTTC as I don't have it. But, my best mate had Plusnet FTTC since day one and had it for 8 months now and his speed on FTTC was spot on with impressed 76Meg/18Meg all the times. He using his own router but with BTO modem.

I been with Plusnet for a long time now with ADSL2+ and had no problem at all. The unlimited on both ADSL2+ and FTTC Fibre Unlimited will be fine. I always get full line speed.

Good luck to your installation date, make sure u give BT Engineer a nice cup of tea and a cake. Engineer should bring his BTO modem but I strongly advised you to get a good router from here if u need a good wifi for FTTC: http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop/ShopSearch.asp?...
