I'm not going to report you but your point was undermined by losing your temper and using insults.

Per my point I have my flaws, and stuff like that exposes them.

Now we've discussed them it's a bit late to be editing posts to hide them so I is what I is and there it is for people's viewing.

I do appreciate what you've said and am not disagreeing in any way, shape or form.

That said I would point out it's the Friday before Christmas and I may have imbibed some Christmas cheer wink

In reply to a post by Ignitionnet:
100 tie pairs and a single 48 port card, Bob.

A trivial point, perhaps, but...

Doesn't a 100-pair tie cable get used up (almost) for each 48 port card? One pair to connect to the E-side in the PCP, plus one pair to connect to the D-side, for each port.

Unless, of course, the card uses 2 ports for each subscriber.

Bad terminology on my part. They are installed as 100 pairs of cables, 100 out, 100 back. Each individual cable is a twisted pair in its own right of course.

Ah. You learn something every day! I always assumed it was just 100 pairs, not 100 pairs of pairs.
