Re: Fibre not installed on master socket?

"Signal" wise the router is about the same as the Plusnet one. I'm not seeing a huge amount of difference and didnt expect to. Speeds on 2.5ghz are the same as the technicolour. 5ghz works fairly okay. It has to go through 2 walls and a celling so the strength is just Fair rather than strong. But speeds are better than 2.5ghz most of the time.

However, the biggest plus point is my line hasn't been dropping so much during heavy use (it dropped once) and I havent experienced any problems connecting on any device. The Plusnet one refuses to play ball occasionally and I dont know why.

I wanted to set up QoS on the Asus but it's complicated. All I want is BBC iPlyaer, Netflix, Youtube and all other streaming services + gaming to have priority, and Bitcomet to have low priority. But I can't quite understand how that's done. The options are abbreviations and other services that aren't quite the same, so I dont know which ones i'm supposed to be choosing.

As you're on Plusnet you shouldn't need to setup QOS, Plusnet does it all for you. Depending on the traffic type it it is rated gold, silver and bronze. Stuff like streaming, gaming and voip is gold rated so takes priority over other stuff.
