The answer is that no servers are affected that hold customer data or our aa.net.uk SSL certificate secret key. The control and billing pages, email servers and our ticketing system are all running an unaffected version of openssl.

This doesn't mean that we're running out of date software; we still apply backported security patches to those boxes and plan suitable upgrades in the long term.

Unfortunately, however, we had a single test box that was both affected by the bug and held the CAcert signed certificate that we use for our email services. We are therefore going to revoke that certificate and replace the secret key.

The chances of the key having been leaked are tiny, but we think it is worth this measure as a precaution.

im sorry but it may be easy for you to follow a badly laid out site but if im not mistaken all of their products and prices are based on 50GB usage. I use WAY more than that and would require an unlimited package, now from what ive seen on this, by selecting 200GB usage its quoting me over £150 a month for FTTC lol. Are they serious?

How can you not see it? It's pretty easy to find your way round on it.

The standard Home::1 package starts with 100GB and can be increased to bigger allowance if needed, either via top up method or choosing a higher package. Pretty easy.

200GB with Home::1 for FTTC is not £150 - you must be on the wrong page, perhaps where you "build" your own package.

As I said... AAISP -> Broadband -> Home::1 then click on 'Order' - everything you need to know is on there.

On the unit-based tariff you get 1GBpm per unit between 2am and 6am. Possibly adequate.

It's an option for anyone on Fibre Unlimited Pro and the new ADSL2+ Unlimited Pro package and Line Profile Customisation will also be available later on this year.

Maybe it's not available at your exchange yet. It's will be available at my exchange at the end of the month which is why I've have to wait.

tbh im not looking to spend £60 a month (finally found how to go through all the prices) which is double anything else, i find it hard to see where the benefit in the connection/ping times etc would be, justifying £30 extra a month, if there would actually be an improvement in the first place

AAISP uses the BT peer link so he would get the same as what hes getting right?

im just debating with myself now and reading reviews trying to decide between PN and SKY, its so hard to decide as each company my be different on different lines/locations, Sky better for one, PN better for another etc. I just want one who's network is good, not too much congestion and they route their traffic sensibly and not send me from london to london via sheffield like BT
