In the bottom corner of DSLstats it reads that the modem has been up for 1:21:23:51, but the DSL has only been up 8:51:23. Does that mean it was reset when DLM changed or is there something else for me to concern over?
Full 80/20 connection with plenty to spare if cross-talk comes along.

The 1:21:3:51 is the length of time the modem has been since last reboot. The DLM changed the line settings so disconnected and reconnected in order for them to take effect. Which is why your speeds have gone up and stats are showing Fast Path. The 8:51:23 is the time since the connection was re-established.

Right, so the connection does drop when DLM makes changes, thats all fine then. Thank you.

It's also nice to be able to see my line is managing the full sync speed now too, I was sceptical at first but it seems perfect now.

EDIT: For anyone interested, the Average Error rates over 24 hours look more like this now:

The post you linked to states the same firmware version that I have installed, where did you get 'A2pv6C038m.d24j'?

If you go to that link and go to the Experimental section I know for sure that the unlockedgui-noBTagent one is based on the A2pv6C038m.d24j as that's what I used a few weeks ago and I've had no problems with it at all, it also synced higher than I've had on the previous versions.

I think that post mentions the old firmware instead of the new, it's just a typo.

I've never really looked into what's considered normal for FEC errors, is an estimated 12k per day ok?

Now DLM has de-intervened, I guess we have something of an answer to that.

While it seems clear that DLM monitors the 24-hour ES values in choosing to intervene, it isn't at all clear how much attention it pays to the FEC rate (vs the ES rate) when choosing to de-intervene.

It is good to see your line is back to 80/20 speeds, as it seemed to be clear that it *ought* to have supported that. In looking at your stats again, I've noted two things:

1. The attainable figure dropped a little after FEC/interleaving was removed, but not as much as I expected. That is interesting for watching in the future, but this disparity might have been caused by...

2. When DLM had intervened, and your speed was 77Mbps, I concentrated too hard on the FEC/interleaving settings. One aspect I missed was that your downstream SNR values were all much higher then 6dB

That suggests two things:
a) That your speed (at the time of taking the stats) could have gone much higher - and a manual resync would have probably restored a full 80/20 sync, even if it would have left the DLM-triggered higher latency in place

b) That the reduced speed (at the time of syncing at 77Mbps) must have been affected by a lot more noise on the line, that has since disappeared. The sync would have targeted an SNRM of 6dB, so the increase of SNR values from 6dB to 11-13dB must have happened after the sync by removal of noise.

The best conclusion is that you have some source of noise around that acts (or acted) intermittently. You might want to leave the stats gathering in place, in case it returns...

Er... my last 1 day FEC count was 5,910,605 from a new noise source in the past 48 hours. However, DLM seems to be managing this with its current settings. ES is still around 200 or less and CRC about 800, both per day.

Wherever it's coming from it's not in the house though. See stats in sig for a live view.
