I am on Cab 14 in Merthyr - way out in the sticks.

I have been told it is included in the FTTC rollout, but when I check on the http://dslchecker.bt.com/ site, I get that WBC ADSL2+ is "Capacity expected 19 June 2014" with no mention of FTTC at all?

Is there any way I can find out when FTTC will be available on that cabinet?

It also says that with ADSL Max, my line rate should be "Up to 0.75" with a range of 0.75 - 2.5, while most of the time I get around 3-3.25. The thinkbroadband speed checker has just goven me an average of 2.5 with a burst speed of 3.03. My router is claiming downstream connection of 3488000.

As far as I'm aware we haven't had any new cabs go live since cab 21 on the 23rd May. Well, except for cab 14 that is which looks like it may have just started accepting orders.

It appears that cabinet 30 has started accepting orders today.

Cabinets 61 and 65 seem to be accepting orders as of today.

Any news on cabinet 16 ?

How do you find out the cabinet plans? Im on cabinet 23. Anybody know when it goes live?

Spoke to the guys working on Cabinet 16 today and they said it will be completed tomorrow but they wont know when it will be lit up on the system

Information on cabinet plans seem to be almost impossible to get but speaking to BT engineers seems to be the best indication. I have no idea when other cabs are planned for go live but 31 seems to have started accepting orders in the last 24 hours.

I spoke to bt engineers working on cabinet 23 yesterday. He said it should be up and running in about 2 months. But they've gone today, is that how long it takes after the engineers have been there? seems quite a long wait
