Nothing new for me, still left in the dark

Exchange Name: WADSLEY BRIDGE
Status: EA
Your area is enabled for Superfast Fibre but your cabinet is not ready yet so you cant place an order today. It is in our plans to be upgraded and we update this info weekly, so please check back later.

That would need a new PCP and FTTC twin in the village.

In my case, they could put 2 cabinets immediately outside the exchange along with an FTTC twin (or two) and that would give almost everyone access to FTTC.

The information is contradictory for me, the exchange on the map used to say FE with an estimated date Dec 2014. Now says PA (over 6 months and up to 18 months) whilst in the list of exchanges a little further down the page it comes under exchanges coming soon and indicates Dec 2014. Which one, if either, is correct I wonder.

Says UR - Under Review for me.

But I don't believe that. It really means that the CAB is not commercially viable but they haven't got a category for that...

At least when I contacted BTOR high level complaints a month or so ago, I was told that they are aware of the new developments but currently have no plans to enable that CAB, plus previously been told it is not commercially viable by customer services, so I don't believe the status has changed!

BT ADSL customer getting 1.9 Mbps on a new road / new build development
CAB not FTTC enabled, not part of the 66% commercial plan. Not rural - no BDUK funding

Its not on the superfast website but I noted road works this morning and had a look at the Streetworks website, it says "Description: Install 2m of 2 poly ducts in Carriageway,Install 2m of 2 poly ducts in Footway, Provide 1 Provide/Recover 1 NGA Cab and base (1.5m x 0.5m)"

From what I can work out it looks like BT are installing a FTTC cab

That's for MYHLT Cab 42

I might be wrong, but I think this contact form is new, or at the very least, NGA Enquiries rising from the ashes.

Thanks for the link, I didn't catch that, hopefully I can finally get an answer on our problem area after all this time.

I wouldn't say ruled out but, it does seem unlikely (by my logic). Maybe a reinforcing factor is that there is nothing on roadworks.org to indicate the laying of ducting (or clearing) for the next 12 months either.
