Looks like those blessed few honoured by the commercial rollout, so largely in Milton Keynes, along possible with those in Cornwall and BDUK part-funded by our taxes will have all the more reasons to be grateful for their genuine fibre optic broadband.

I guess you mean the same Cornwall where there are no Motorways, inadequate trunk roads and railways, but whose residents have part-funded the same in other parts of the country?

"Swings and roundabouts" springs to mind.

But it's nice to get something first for a change.

Actually the funding for Cornwall Superfast broadband was from the EU, BT and Cornwall Council.

EU funding goes to hundreds of projects in various locations in the UK, just because I do not benefit from some of them does not mean I have a bee in by bonnet about why they receive the funding and I do not.
