Cabinet #4 is in the wrong location on the Burton (LCBTN) exchange.
It's actually located next to the M6 bridge entering Holme. smile
Image of location it should be in here

Nice job on the map so far, keep up the good work!

I have bought a property in Keswick. My local cabinet is not yet enabled. Any idea how I can find out where my local cabinet is a when it is scheduled to be enabled?

Martin

Which cabinet are you on
https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html
I can then probably point you in the right direction.
Unfortunately the Cabinet map is rather inaccurate in keswick.
Installation seems to have stalled after the first 5 cabinets ( nearest the exchange) were activated during the summer.
I also am waiting !
Send a PM if you want.

It's frustrating that they don't give some approximate information - at least what they are planning, subject to technical issues & delays etc. However I emailed [email protected]. Given them your phone no. and postcode and in my experience they will come back to you within a couple of days with an approximate date.

Yeah I managed to get a tentative date of " February 2015" . Don't understand why they wont just release this information.

carlisle cab 93 in wrong place, it should be above the g on lingmoor way.

Missing cab 62 should be on the staggered junction of chesterholm (turn left on housesteads road onto castlesteads drive and its the first right as you drive down. (awaiting power supply)

Map updated today (20th March)

Plenty of new enabled cabinets and exchanges. Apart from that:

- At least 99 new cabs have been installed around the county, mostly to deal with EO lines. 11 of these are now live with FTTC.
- A handful of cabinets are now down for FTTP instead of FTTC. Of course this could change and may not be totally accurate
- Several commercial cabinets that kept missing their RFS date are now showing as having no plans to upgrade to FTTC
- Workington Cab 49 has gone live with FTTP. As far as I can tell this is the first and currently the only live FTTP under the programme in the county. (however there is lots of activity going on looking at the Cumbria roadworks map).

Hi Indigobanana

Thanks for a very useful and informative map. Great work.

You want to know of any cabinets that are shown on the map in the wrong place.

Staveley Exchange Cab #1 is not opposite the end of Chapel Lane but opposite the end of Crook Road from Staveley. About 1/4 mile to East of Chapel Lane. Should it be FTTC rather than FTTP?

Also Staveley Exchange is now enabled (don't know when but it is recent) with Cab #1 proposed for cabling sometime - soon I hope.
