Well.. a lot of activity this week. They've fitted one of the big cabinets outside the exchange, and it looks like they will do the other one today - I had a quick peak at the ground work. (they're fitting 2 side by side) After that they should be moving on to the one along Halsdon terrace. I also noticed one of the chaps fiddling around inside cabinet1 as well.

Keeping my fingers crossed for ordering going live within the next 2 weeks now. yay!

I'd noticed the activity outside the exchange, and by the looks of it, they are going the whole hog with things; it would seem that Torrington will no longer have any exchange only lines. I've also noticed they've been doing bits of work that seems to be the duct clearing...

It looks like it's time for me to order a new router, to be all ready. As soon as it's upgraded and ready to order, I'll be going to the change a service page on the Zen website and grinning.

On a separate note, I spotted on roadworks that Victoria Road in Hatherleigh (where phone exchange is) has road closure end of November into December for fibre work. So fingers crossed it may be to sort out the EO lines here!

Yes, looks like they're making their way down to hatherleigh and also running down past Filleigh towards south molton. I've spotted a few new cab's there (especially near Mole Valley Farmers), although there's nothing official yet.

With a little luck, those final pieces of the puzzle should be done within days.

Just a couple of blocked ducts along New Street and Calvesford Road to be cleared, and the in ground chamber near the dentist now... Then it should be time for them to connect everything together.

Just looked at Meeth on the Hatherleigh exchange CDAS have it for OCT 2014 just ran a number through and its live now. I hope they do the EO lines at Hatherleigh sooon!
