Yes.

It's just how we used to connect to dialup in Windows, except PPPoE not PPPoA. Lots of people on these forums have done it when their router hasn't turned up in time from their ISP.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.6/14.1Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

Same username and password as you have stored in your router.

The tunnel warning is likely to be an IPv6 issue which you can disable if need be.

Did you unlock your modem, and if so have you altered any settings in it? If you have altered any settings then best to do a factory reset on it. That leaves it unlocked, which is fine, but puts it into normal bridge mode which is what you want.

For Windows you want Control Panel >> Set up a new connection or network, then follow the instructions. I don't intend to screw my system up to go all the way through it wink.

Yes I did unlock my modem ages ago last February. So, I will try reset to factory default and use it normal bridge mode. And try windows networking. I will back up my windows first (don't want to ruining it)

That's just the normal pin in the hole at the back while the modem is already on - remember that? You don't want to reload the locked firmware.
