FTTC Modem

My BT Openreach modem is two years old and is looking a little tired. Plus I would like to see the line stats.

Any suggestions for which modem? I quite like the AVM Fritz!Box 7490 but the wireless performance is poor in comparison to my current router (Asus RT-AV87R) as I would also like to answer / dial using my home phone remotely with the iPhone app.

Ask an Openreach Engineer to come over and install the latest router

Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.4/14.5Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

Look on eBay and see if anyone is selling any new and unlocked HG612's !
