I agree, but also wanted to add that there are lots of legacy copper services that cannot/should not be migrated onto fibre - whilst most of us don't use them for those that do it would have caused problems at that time such as SPM feeds using 50Hz pulses to name a really querky example

Maybe if Fujitsu, who were offering a more complete coverage than BT's ~95% FTTC solution, had been awarded some of the County Council BDUK contracts, more people would be able to get speed test results like this:
