Hard to tell but I dont think so - I've got a load of friends and family in this older new (?!?) estate and they are able to order fibre but on another cabinet - cabinet 48 I think it is - we are 50.

My sister lives about 100 yards from cabinet 50 and about 1/4 mile from 48 and she is on 48 - put it that way.

Cabinet 50 - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@55.9012093,-4.1925949...

Even the houses right behind it seem to be served by 48.

The new estate is opposite it - that google photo looks to be a couple of years old now. Loads more houses now..

Thanks
M

Fibre broadband not currently available

You are served by cabinet number 50 on the Bishopbriggs exchange.

Fibre broadband is available to order in parts of the Bishopbriggs exchange, however your premises do not have access to fibre broadband currently.

This position may change, so please check back periodically.

Wee update.
Just got an email back from Digital Scotland. "Your premises are not included in the Digital Scotland rollout"

Then they very helpfully sent me a link to a price comparison site to see which providers could offer me fibre deals. When I clearly can't get fibre.

Looks like I'm stuffed for now. Do these decisions get reviewed every now and then? I'm thinking in a few years my cabinet will have a lot more folk connected to it.

In the current project which is 85% of Scotland with access to fibre based broadband this is probably true, but the next step which is 95% to finish in 2017 to 2018 has not had all the decisions made yet.

So its not a never, just no-one can give you a firm time scale, or you might be in the 5% that will only be looked at beyond 2018 and hopefully before 2020.
