can a broadband line be reversed? I have just done a speed test on my line and the results were down 3.08 up26.39 pimg 171!!

It suggests an issue or two with the line or PC.
Can you provide a link to the test result? Along with te router stats.

What sort of connection have you got and do you have the stats from the router? Also, can you do a speed test on the thinkbroadband home page and post the link to it here?

Something is likely not right with your test but need more info...

i have normal adsl and latest test was 3.09/0.58/94ms#
think broadband speed test wont load so will come back later if it does

Sorry, assumed it was a serious question as that could have been a line fault on FTTC. Maybe better to make it clear it isn't serious... Guessing it was probably speedtest.net?

Our test was running at the time you posted, so maybe something specific on your PC.

The test at http://labs.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest does not need Flash (flash is something that most but not everyone has installed)

Looks like the result was just a rogue speed test result, which if a connection or PC is behaving badly can sometimes happen. Our tests have been written to try and minimise these false results.
