Thanks for your response. The exchange is Broxton, about 11 miles SE of Chester. The cabinet to which I'm attached is approx. 2km East of the exchange.
FYI I believe I'm attached to the old cabinet rather than the new fibre linked cabinet.

It is not that difficult ... check your router is on the list.and if so, download the Windows self installer version. There is a BT Hub specific version of you have one of those.

Install it and then follow the simple set up instruction ...

Using the option select a 30 second sample time and for the graph to display DOWN speed and SNR. It will automatically save images for you. Once you have those, someone will tell you how to upload them to Photobucket, Flikr or a similar image sharing site.

If you are really stuck, ask here and them should be someone with RSL installed that can take you through it.
