FTTP "in some areas"

I'm on the nsden exchange just noticed fttp is now enabled at the exchange

i guess this is for the EO lines?

nothing on the wholesale checker yet for me only fttc i know the likeliness of getting fttp when i already have the fttc is very low.

Any info on what cabients would serve fttp?

Cabinets don't serve FTTP.

Correct but invaribly the fttp footprint aligns with a cabinet footprint

I think postcodes would be better. e.g. AB24 5EQ

Ok as far as I can see no-one postcode is live with FTTP yet, there is some EO lines due to get FTTP but plan covers just 12 EO postcodes.

Your answer is completely correct. However, in our case all of the lines that are connected to our cabinet for copper have now got FTTP as an option. So either ADSL2 via copper and /or FTTP via fibre.

Cabinet 68 seems to be down to get a bulk of the EO Lines that are also down for FTTP, not too sure what its going to end up with due to things change a lot.

Also didn't check all EO Lines and their postcodes due to loads of them.

FTTP is apparently "Enabled in some areas" on my exchange too, but I can't find any postcodes supplying it.

Can anyone see any with your fancy lookup tools Exchange is NESVL

Sadly its FTTC and not FTTP for the postcode (AB25 3XU) that you supplied in your original post.
Any way I did a check on all homes for that postcode and have the following:

Exchange Name: Aberdeen Denburn
Exchange Code: NSDEN
Country: Scotland

Cabinet: 83
Fibre Phase: Phase 07b 2011-2012
Fibre Information: FTTC Available from 18th March 2012
Result Count: 33

[AB25 3XU]
� Has 33 result(s) connected to Cabinet 83 with FTTC with approximate speeds around the following:
� Range A: 72.0 -> 80.0 (downstream) 20.0 -> 20.0 (upstream)
� Range B: 61.9 -> 80.0 (downstream) 12.2 -> 20.0 (upstream)

Please note that these speeds are using BT's DSL Checker and uses the lowest and highest values for that postcode and cabinet.
� Had at least 1 issue retrieving information from the BT DSL Checker.

You can either get ADSL2+ from 8.5 to 19 Mbps or FTTC, there is no mention of FTTP for that postcode on cabinet 83.

I also have the individual FTTC speeds for each of the homes for that postcode if need be.
