Ah that makes sense, every home apart from a few homes on cabinet 8 for Kingsmead has FTTC.

I didn't read their whole reply where they displayed the speeds along with their exchange and cabinet, I was going by their original post was busy doing checks, while I will now stop

But yeah Cabinet 8 for exchange Torrington (WWTORR) is still in progress hence FTTC Planned (exchange ready 29th June 2013) Phase BDUK CDS 12a

I thought it was strange posting about a different exchange and cabinet, I have see it for cabinets of the same exchange.

Sorry! I should of stated Kingsmead Drive up by the police station. If it says it should of been ready 2 years ago, how long would it usually take for Cabinet 8 to be updated, considering many address' near by have Fibre from Cabinets 2 & 3?
Also do you have a location I can go to check on specific cabinets of WWTORR? Thanks!

No that date "exchange ready 29th June 2013" I think means when that exchange was upgraded to fibre, and don't think has anything to do with the cabinet.

As for how long until cabinet 8 will be updated, that would depend on the route the fibre takes and if they have any issues with planning etc this can all take a toll on the completion date.

As for a location, I have no idea, I would have to do a check for all addresses to determine a rough location and there would be no way for me to know if that's correct due to me not living in Devon.

I got up early this morning to install the TalkTalk fibre router and to make sure the thing was working with my home network ok. It was a good job i did really becasue whilst i was messing around, the internet went dead at around 8:15 for a few minutes and then the router reconnected but to VDSL rather than ADSL.

10 Minutes later i heard a knock at the door, to find a young irish bt open reach engineer (contractor), who came in, changed my master socket faceplate, did a few tests and left.
