In reply to a post by RobertoS:
We have been fully agreed for a few posts that the BTW takes the Where and When for fibre.
Agreed.

In reply to a post by RobertoS:
What I'm saying is that whereas you think the Where and When has the data for xDSLx but doesn't show it, I'm saying it doesn't. BTW is reading OR, but OR isn't reading BTW. They don't both read a common database.
I never said that, I agree that the DSL Checker uses the information from the Where and when database for the fibre stuff, I never said it was the over way round.

I think I either didn't explain it right or you miss read it, What I was saying was there is nothing stopping the Where and when page from displaying speed information, due to the returned data from the Where and when page also include a speed attribute in the data which is set to an empty string.

Part of the returned JSON data from the Where and when page:
"results":
{
    "status":"underreview",
    "speed":"",
    "speed_type":"",
    "fttc":false,
    "fttp":false
}
That's all.

Well,

My cabinet went live yesterday morning and the DSL checker site now shows it as available.

The Where and When still shows it as "Exploring Options".

Makes sense to have different sources if they're going to sell off Openreach before BT gets bought by the germans.
