Hi all

A question, can a lot of wireless errors cause your connection to be interleaved ? I am asking this as my fibre seems very solid. I have not had one error on my fibre and my stats are below,

My wireless has a lot of devices family mobiles, laptops ect

Short answer, no.

Long answer, definitely no.

Some error stats might be useful. "I have not had one error" seems unlikely.

Thank you for the answer, its what I thought but I am puzzled as to why after 1 dc my connection has got interleaved and why the downstream interleave depth has shot up to 2062. I would have thought that it should have gone back to fast by now as my connection has been very solid.

PS I know my speed it still pretty good but I am curious. DLM still same after 19 days, stuck maybe ?

It was probably the other way round. As I said, it would be good if we could see your error stats.

The normal thing is that the DLM gets unhappy about the error rates and in the end turns on interleaving. (The high number is normal on FTTC, unlike the low numbers on ADSL2+). Turning it on causes the disconnection, which is needed in order to implement it.

It's WAN stats we need. They should be in roughly the same place as the ones in your OP.

I see your router is unlocked unfortunately I have a talktalk super router HG633 which cannot be unlocked.

I see LAN stats and wireless stats. No internet stats, which are shown in the link I gave.

Edit: Ah, I've just thought where you may be confused. WAN = Wide Area Network = Internet. The W is nothing to do with Wireless .
