It won't be in the chamber, most likely the checker is just ahead of itself and this is where it is intended to go.

DSLAM arrives pre-fitted into its green cabinet and is lifted off the lorry onto the plinth
Yeah, I thought that, just wasn't too sure.

But you never know with BT, it all depends on the engineer.

I recall a while back that we had a broken copper wire in the trunk between chamber and cabinet and there was no other spare pairs (so they said) and they sadly put up on separate wires on two different pairs, well you can guess what happened, ended up having them come back and do it right and oh look they found several pairs, so BT can do silly stuff some times.

Physically difficult to get the DSLAM into a pavement chamber http://www.coolwebhome.co.uk/fibre-cornwall/ DSLAM is the rack mount on the left hand side of picture 4 and have never heard of one being removed from a cabinet in the wild.

Engineers will add line cards as and when demand grows and that cab with 8 blocks of 24 was filling up nicely even back in 2012 but this was in conrwall.

That would fit in a dual chamber lol, I remember as a child getting a square block into a round hole LOL, if you have difficulties installing something try applying some little force when inserting, if all fails try jumping on it or use a hammer crazy

I think 147 has been pulled from the program. I would suspect the costs mounted too high

Not sure if anyone is still watching this thread. So it looks like cab 147 was TPON and would not get fibre. However they have moved my cabinet to 64 which is due to get fibre in April apparently. How can I find out where can 64 is? Thanks

Yeah I see that too, however cab 147 that I've been moved from is in Polden avenue and that's the only cab there.
